Open Call: Development and Testing of Screen Reader Accessible Immersive Web Audio
Artists, Educators, Researchers, or Computer Scientists who use screen readers or accessibility tools for the browser.
- Open to any UK-based disabled artists or anyone who uses accessibility tools for the browser
- 1-on-1 opportunity to help create better accessibility for virtual spaces using spatial audio
- 1-3 paid £150 half day sessions at June’s studio in Deptford, London testing and providing feedback on browser-based spatial audio controls
- Travel expenses included
- Join a community of artists working with spatial audio and other immersive media on Discord
- Experience with binaural audio preferred, but not required

Sessions will take place in the summer 2024, depending on availability and schedule of artists. So far I've developed controls for desktop, mobile, keyboard, and gamepad api, working with both ambisonics and positional audio.
